They are one of the typical desserts of the Calabrian tradition. We taste them accompanied by a good raisin wine.

Description:

Shortbread cookie, enriched with Tuono almonds, honey and spices; this fragrance is characterized by pleasant notes of bergamot from Reggio Calabria; the second cooking, with low temperature, gives the typical crunchiness and enhances the flavors.

Ingredients:

Stone-ground soft wheat type 1 flour, tuono almonds from Sicily, sugar, orange blossom honey from Calabria, water, bergamot paste from Reggio Calabria (2%) [bergamot zest from Reggio Calabria, glucose syrup, cane sugar], butter 84% fc, raising agent (sodium bicarbonate), Bourbon vanilla pods, natural bergamot flavor from Reggio Calabria. Preservative-free.
